Hide Safari Tab Bar in iPadOS 16.4 is missing
Beginning with iPadOS 16.4, numerous users have voiced their concern that they could no longer hide the Safari tab bar because the option to do has been removed. For the unaware. you could easily disable the tab bar from the Settings > Safari > Show Tab Bar toggle. However, that toggle is nowhere to be found after the latest OS update. So this begs the all-important question- is this a bug or an intended change?
Well, it could be the former due to the fact the feature is still present on the Safari iOS 16.4 build [usually every Safari feature change is in sync between both these devices]. Moroever, this ‘issue’ has only been reported by a niche segment of users. If Apple had decided to remove it, then the repercussion might have been more widely felt. Still, you should take it with a pinch of salt until we get hold of more concrete evidence.
